NEXSENTRY MANAGER is the first security management system that
combines the power and flexibility of the Microsoft® Windows 2000
operating system with the quality and reputation of a NexWatch
product.
With an intuitive graphical user interface, NexSentry Manager is
easy to learn and simple to use; yet, it is powerful and flexible
enough to monitor controllers at multiple sites around the world
from a single server location or from up to eight client
locations. Its powerful interactive maps feature allows visual
status of any location in a system using maps created by CAD/CAM
or other graphics programs. Operators can also control any
location in a building by simply clicking on the corresponding
icon on a map.
NexSentry Manager includes the following standard modules: Access
Control, System and Activity Monitoring, Database Management,
Database Reporting, and Maps. An operator can simultaneously
perform these functions, even while doing other system operations
like using a word processor or performing a backup. NexSentry
Manager also supports integrated point-and-click photo ID
production with NexSentry Imaging Solutions. Support for standard
network protocols (TCP/ IP) allows NexSentry Imaging Solutions to
be integrated with NexSentry Manager over local area networks.
Support for standard database protocols—ODBC—allow NexSentry
Manager and NexSentry Imaging Solutions systems to share a
database, alleviating repetitive data entry.
NexSentry Manager is compatible with Star II, Star I, 4100 and
818SC, and allows support for multiple access control
technologies, including the following: digital proximity, analog
proximity, magnetic stripe, keypad, biometrics, and Wiegand.
