Wiegand Interface Unit (WIU) is a conversion module
that allows facilities with Wiegand physical interface
systems to upgrade to WSE advanced digital technology
while keeping intact the current wiring scheme of the
security network. WIU supports standard 26- or 34-bit,
5-wire Wiegand protocol between one NexSentry controller
and up to four DR4205W DigiReaders. WIU is compatible with
NexSentry 4100 Series Controllers and security management
for UNIX and Windows NT® .
